Feet Loaf

Feet Loaf

Ready for some spooky fun? We got this idea from a spooky meat loaf that our friend Ron made a while back.  Everybody makes meat loaf differently, so the recipe can be adjusted in any way that you see fit. The recipe listed is a simple one from our family.  The featured picture is Ron’s masterpiece and he used cashews on the toes, a leek for the leg bone, and tomato sauce for the “bloody foot” effect.  Hopefully your family won’t be too scared to enjoy the meal!

Feet Loaf

This fun, spooky meal uses cashews for on the "toes" and a leek as the exposed leg bone.  Add some tomato sauce or ketchup for the bloody foot effect, and you'll have the spookiest Halloween meal ever!

    4. Cover leek and cashews with foil for first half of baking time to prevent burning (about 25 minutes).

    6. Continue baking for another 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.

Recipe Notes

This is a very basic meatloaf recipe, but can be adjusted to individual taste. I sometimes put tomato sauce into the meatloaf mixture for added moisture. Onions or other vegetables may also be added to mixture. Have fun with it, and try not to get too scared!
